Dynamic individual with ability to multitask while focusing solid attention to detail in order to support the Preschool-8th Grade Education Program. Main responsibility is to support school operations through: customer care, administration, data management, bookkeeping and communications. Secondary responsibility is to support the Church programs in administration and operations, in conjunction with colleague(s).


  • CUSTOMER CARE: Work relationally to bring a positive and helpful customer experience for those who are interested, attending and/or working with the school.
  • ADMINISTRATIVE: execute administrative entry, reports, and processes efficiently
  • DATA MANAGEMENT & EVENT SUPPORT: Organize and maintain personnel files through electronic student databases including, but not limited to, calendar of events, files, forms, giving, groups, and people
  • FINANCIAL: INVENTORY & BOOKKEEPING: Inventory and supply management for school needs (supplies, milk, books, etc.); conduit for bookkeeping payments (i.e. tuition, fees, donations, etc.)
  • MARKETING SUPPORT & COMMUNICATIONS: Promote school events and happenings through weekly communications avenues, including print to social media to build awareness, attract and connect with prospect, current and alumni / church families interested in GS school
    • Keep actions and communications faith-based and focused on advancement towards achieving the church’s goals
    • Offer support to the school principal, preschool director and faculty for designated tasks
    • Assist coverage of office and church responsibilities and tasks during colleague(s) absence
    • Additional duties and tasks, as needed


  • Understands their role in the Ministry of Good Shepherd and maintains a pleasant demeanor even under pressure
  • Familiarity with student management software/database management is a plus
  • Well-versed in general office and administrative responsibilities, tasks and equipment use
  • Proficient in 21st century technology communication tools (web, e-database systems, other social media, and WordPress, Constant Contact, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 10 programs including, but not limited to, Outlook, Word, Xcel, PowerPoint, Publisher
  • Proficient in Google Productivity apps and sharing, including but not limited to Docs, Sheets, and Slides
  • Understands Facebook personal and business pages and management to build engagement and traffic
  • Highly collaborative, positive and open minded, highly flexible, open to feedback
  • Detail oriented, ambitious, enjoys taking initiative, can help organized others as well as self, comfortable and productive when engaged in team and solo project work
  • Efficient, has ability to provide trainable solutions to updating/streamlining processes through use of technology
