About Us

Families who bring their children to Good Shepherd School value the school for the fine academic preparation it affords, as well as the unique climate of social diversity, acceptance, and understanding it fosters.  Classes from Pre-K through eighth grade take part in a full range of programs.  Subject areas include music, art, computer technology/use, laboratory science, Spanish, physical education, and Word of God, along with the traditional academic curriculum.

Our children benefit from the skills and dedication of some of Minnesota’s most experienced and caring instructors. Our Lutheran Elementary School strives to develop and nourish every child’s spiritual life so their faith will show itself in their personal relationships as well as their role in society.  Additionally, the academic excellence achieved by our school staff and teachers has shown through in the students’ test results.

Our teachers are all all trained in elementary education and strive to show Christian love and care for all the students. They are dedicated to each student’s success, and they work as a team to serve the entire student body, not just their class.   Each teacher uses a blog to share weekly updates , where you can get the most current information on your child’s classroom activities.  In these blogs, they do their best to keep you informed.
