After School Care

Good Shepherd school is pleased to offer our families quality after-school child care services through our Kidz Club program. Kidz Club is located on site in our school building and provides fun and safe activities in a Christian atmosphere for children in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Kidz Club operates an extended day program for Kindergarteners (Session II) from 11:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. During this time, children participate in a structured program including stories, music, arts and crafts, science exploration and outdoor/large muscle play. Each child brings his or her own lunch, and the class shares a family style meal together with the Kidz Club teacher.

Following the Kindergarten Session, grades 1 through 8 join Kidz Club for the afternoon session (Session III) running from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. A healthy snack is served at 3:15 each day. An early morning session (Session I) is available from 6:30 to 8:00 a.m. on an as-needed basis, by reservation. A healthy breakfast is served at 7:30 each morning.
Once enrolled in the program, Kidz Club families may use the program as often as needed. Rates for Kidz Club care are as follows:
$5.00 for the first hour of attendance in any session
$10.00 for any amount of time exceeding 1 hour in any session

Costs for each session accrue separately. A $2.00 discount is given for any day that a family utilizes two or more full sessions per child.
