The play-based curriculum for young children comes from real life experiences carefully woven together by the teacher as facilitator. Free choice “work time” (play time) as well as teacher-led group activities, will take place daily. Multi-sensory activities are planned to encourage learning in music, art, social studies, science, math, reading, large and small motor skills. Bible stories covering the basics of the Christian faith from the Old and New Testament of the Bible are also taught age appropriately. A component of the curriculum, especially for 4-5 years olds, is alphabet letter recognition and sounds. Planned activities take into account the individual needs and interests of each child in the group, regardless of age.
