At Good Shepherd, Bible Education begins at birth! We have programs that meet the various Christian needs of our young members; newborn through seniors (55+)!
Cradle Roll: Parents of newborns through age 4 receive regular packets containing Christian parenting materials including age-appropriate books, pamphlets with tips, songs, poems, and activities, and an age-appropriate music CD with vocal and accompaniment tracks.
Children’s Bible Studies: Children, ages 3 through 6th grade, who attend Good Shepherd’s Faith Night, are divided into age groups, and rotate between stations during our Bible study hour. Children enjoy a devotion or bible study, crafts and activity/music each week, which correspond with the same lesson teens and adults are learning to create opportunities for family discussion throughout the week.
Confirmation: Youth Confirmation, or Catechism Instruction, is provided to students in 7th and 8th grade to prepare them for their earthly life as well as eternity in heaven. Learn more.
Seekers Youth Group: All Good Shepherd 5th–12th graders—and their friends—are invited to be part of our Seekers Youth Group! At Good Shepherd, we believe it’s essential for our youth to have meaningful opportunities to grow in faith and fellowship, and this program is designed to do exactly that. The Seekers meet on select Sundays for a devotional time followed by a fun group activity such as bowling, volleyball, or trivia. Learn more.
OWLS: If you’re 55 or older, you’re invited to join our OWL group! The OWLS meet monthly for activities such as picnics, game nights, museum tours, plays, and more. Come when you can—every gathering is relaxed, welcoming, and designed for fun and fellowship. Learn more.
